I created a very stupid thread in OT asking to trade insults with whoever was interesting in that kind of ridiculous behavior. I have since deleted the content of "my" posts and comments there due to the below info. A moderator saw fit to change the actual content of nearly every post there, to fit their personal ideals of what the forums should be. Both mine, and those responding in the thread. Look it was a dumb thread and I'm sure it violated a handful of forums rules. If a moderator wanted to enforce those rules, then fine, edit the speech for unacceptable laungauge, or just lock the thread. However, changing the content of entire conversations, so that you are effectively talking to yourself, in a moderated farce, is not only a huge overreach of moderator power, it's messed up. It doesn't matter how dumb my thread was, or how funny you thought your changes were. You MODERATE my threads, you don't own them. Next time do your job and lock my thread. If the overreaching mod wants to message me directly I'm here, if they want to publicly debate it, I'm here, if you don't want to talk to me about it I'm here. If you want to ban me, I suppose I won't be here. Even in off topic, in a absurdly dumb thread, your job remains the same and abusing your power is unacceptable.
